NEWSFLASH! - Weather forecasters who wrongly get our hopes up face custodial sentences

The Government is set to cave in to mounting public pressure and impose custodial sentences for weather-forecasters who give viewers unjustified hopes for days off work with predictions of heavy snow which subsequently fails to materialize.

A survey by 'Conclusive??' a globally-respected think tank based in Market Harborough, found that 69% of workers had taken time off work in the last year, as a result of stress induced by the eagerly anticipated snow duvet days simply not occurring.
